My Review:
Bianca is a seemingly normal senior in high school with two loyal best friends but that's pretty much where the normality ends. Bianca's cynicism is something to be marveled at, she manages to make almost any situation hilarious with her witty banter and the overly petty comments she sometimes makes start to become totally understandable when you get a handle on her history.

She recently added a new word to her vocabulary when she was branded The Duff by her nemesis, Wesley Rush. The title of major insult disgusts her so much that she just can't stop thinking about it, she spots The Duff in many other social situations and believes that the term really does have a fully developed meaning.

In a totally twisted relationship choice, Bianca somehow ends up in the opposite of what I'd call friends with benefits with Wesley in what I see as a little revenge on Bianca's part but as she gets closer to the boy who pledges to "never chase girls", they become almost trusted alliances.

I can clearly see why so many people would be turned off by the frequent cursing by Bianca and even though I'm usually not a fan of this type of language, I came with a feeling of refreshing honesty for Kody Keplinger's debut attempt. It''ll also have you yearning after the wrong boy for all the right reasons in the most heart-wrenching novel I've read in a long while.
