Book Blurb:
Desperately seeking a husband . . .

Suzette is not like other heiresses; she wants a poor husband, a gentleman who will be so grateful for her dowry that he will allow her access to it so that she can pay off her father's gambling debts. When this alluring beauty encounters Daniel Woodrow—handsome, titled, single . . . and even more impoverished than she could have hoped for—it seems Suzette's wildest dreams have come true.

But Daniel has not been truthful. Tired of being accosted by an endless stream of vapid coquettes and their fortune-hunting mothers, Daniel has decided to plead poverty to stop them in their tracks. Yet here is a most refreshing and delectable lady, who claims to be thrilled by his penury. Now all Daniel has to do to find true happiness is to keep a little white lie alive . . . while avoiding a villain who's determined to prevent this union by any means necessary.

BJ's Thoughts:

This is the fabulous story of Suzette, the boisterous, not-so-proper, extremely sassy, middle Madison sister who is out to find herself a poor husband to save her family from ruin.Yes, that's right, a poor husband. Fortunately for her, she stumbles upon the self proclaimed poorboy, Daniel. She then finds herself pouncing on the opportunity to propose- and that's when the real adventures begin.

Between a dead body, her father showing up unannounced and a unfortunate kidnapping- just what else can try to disturb Suzette's brilliant scheme? Can she overcome all these unforeseen obstacles and make it to her wedding?

The Heiress is absolutely entertaining and it is just wonderful to have this book release just one month after the first book in the Madison Sisters series- Countess, as you finally get to witness what really happened behind the closed doors between Suzette and Daniel...Oh my gosh!

I so want more of the Madison Sister series! I was sad to see it end, but it's great to know that now I get to anticipate the next book which will evolve Lisa's story. Really hoping that Robert will open his eyes already! This book definitely deserves five robots for a perfectly charming and cute addition to the Madison Sister’s Trilogy. Highly recommend!
