Book Summary:
Virginity.

Bliss Edwards is about to graduate from college and still has hers. Sick of being the only virgin among her friends, she decides the best way to deal with the problem is to lose it as quickly and simply as possible-- a one-night stand. But her plan turns out to be anything but simple when she freaks out and leaves a gorgeous guy alone and naked in her bed with an excuse that no one with half-a-brain would ever believe. And as if that weren’t embarrassing enough, when she arrives for her first class of her last college semester, she recognizes her new theatre professor. She’d left him naked in her bed about 8 hours earlier

Shannon's Thoughts:
Losing It was my first foray into "New Adult".  I found Losing It to be basically a young adult contemporary plot with college age kids and sex.  Which I guess it the point of New Adult.  I'll admit that I liked that Losing It could take Bliss and Garrick's relationship further than if it had been a YA novel. It kind of upped the ante on their relationship.  There is a lot of back and worth, will-they-won't-they and it all plays out very much like out like a rom-com (complete with all your standard rom-com troupes).  It also is fairly predictable.  But, the book was still undeniably fun and fluffy.  And at only 288 pages, it makes for a very easy and quick read.  I think this would be the perfect beach read!

Other books in this series in the order that they should be read:
1. Losing It
2. Faking It
