A to Z Book Survey!

Courtesy of Jaime at The Perpetual Page Turner

(I LOVE Jaime's blog!  She comes up with the best stuff!!)

Author you've read the most books from:

Terry Pratchett at 20 books.  But that's still only about half of what he has published!
Best Sequel Ever:

Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi and Scarlet by Marissa Meyers
Currently Reading:

Life after Life by Kate Atkinson
Drink of Choice While Reading:

Scotch.  Neat.  Just kidding.  Anything, really.
E-reader or Physical Book?

Either really, but physical books are much better for anything with illustrations.  But you can't beat e-readers for vacations!
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:

Hmm...I'm not sure.  I liked safe, dorky boys.  I probably would have had a crush on Sam from The Wolves of Mercy Falls by Maggie Stiefvater though.  I'm still a sucker for guys that play guitars.
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:

Cinder by Marissa Meyer and The Diviners by Libba Bray
Hidden Gem Book:

The Assassin's Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke
Important Moment in your Reading Life:

Hmm...probably when I signed up to be a reviewer on this blog!
Just Finished:

Insignia by S. J. Kincaid
Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:

Hmm, I'm fairly open if the reviews are strong enough, but I would be very hard pressed to read bodice ripper romances or anything remotely related to 50 Shades of Grey.  I usually steer away from hard Sci-Fi as well.
Longest Book You’ve Read:

The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon at 1,443 pages. In fact all of the books in the Outlander series I've read hit the top ten longest books I've read.
Major book hangover because of:

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak and My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Number of Bookcases You Own:

4, but one is used for DVDs.  Sacrilegious, I know.
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

Watership Down by Richard Adams
Preferred Place To Read:

Anywhere comfy!  But I do love to read in the bathtub.  Mostly because there are so few distractions.
Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
“I say, 'I will not be your weakness, Sean Kendrick.'
Now he looks at me. He says, very softly, 'It's late for that, Puck.”
― Maggie Stiefvater, The Scorpio Races
This book had one of the sweetest understated romances and the above quote always makes me swoon.
Reading Regret:

Reading all the books in a series when I didn't even like the first one.
Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):

The Beautiful Creatures series.  I read the first one and liked it well enough.  I have the rest on my Kindle...just need to get there.
Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:

Oh man.  I don't know. The Scorpio Races, Code Name Verity, and The Thief?
Unapologetic Fangirl For:

Maggie Stiefvater and Leigh Bardugo
Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:

Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi.
Worst Bookish Habit:

Hmm.  Not sure, but I can be messy when I eat and I read when I eat.
X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:

The Hounds of Baskerville by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Your latest book purchase:

I have brought a bunch of books for my daughter lately.  Her favorite out of the bunch is Dragons Love Tacos.
ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):

The 5th Wave - but oh so worth it!
